Dr. Claudín Gómez is a board certified psychiatrist and addiction psychiatrist trained at the University of California, San Diego. A native of Southern California, she has built her career serving the community that raised her.

Practicing in the Inland Empire, Dr. Gómez has seen both the stigma that surrounds mental health and substance use and the shortage of psychiatric care that leaves so much of the region underserved. Those realities shaped her path into addiction psychiatry and continue to define her mission: delivering expert, compassionate care to the patients and families who have long gone without it.

Her clinical expertise spans depression, anxiety, PTSD, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder, alongside substance use disorders including alcohol, opioid, benzodiazepine, cannabis, and methamphetamine use. She practices personalized medication management, tailoring each treatment plan to the individual patient and their stage of recovery.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Gómez ensures that language is never an obstacle to quality psychiatric care. She has also served as a Scholar and Mentor for REACH, Recognizing and Eliminating Disparities in Addiction through Culturally Competent Healthcare, reflecting her commitment to equity and access in mental health.
